๐ŸŒ Difference between the national ranking and the event ranking

Last updated on

ShadowPass publishes two complementary types of rankings: a global ranking that tracks your progress over time, and an event ranking that measures your one-off performance.

Event ranking

This is the podium for a given competition: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on. It is published at the end of each event and remains accessible in the event's history.

National ranking (global)

This is your cumulative ranking across all the ShadowPass events you have taken part in. It changes continuously based on your results.

Example: you finish 3rd in a regional battle โ†’ you appear on that event's podium and you earn ELO points that change your position in the national ranking.

Is there a regional ranking?

Yes โ€” you can filter the national ranking by region or by city. These regional rankings use the same ELO points but limit the list to dancers tied to the chosen area.
